Brown and blue
It's honestly a bit sad how many times I have worn this dress recently! When I find a piece of clothing I love I'll wear it day after day after day(of course washing it in-between!) I've been on the hunt for some cute summer dresses lately but have not had a lot of luck in stores. I recently ordered several dresses from Nordstrom and I cannot wait for those to arrive! I went to Marshalls a week or so ago and I picked up this little dress. I love the navy and white print because is so different from any patterns that are currently in my closet. And the best part of it is that I only paid $16 for it, what a steal! I actually bought a dress almost identical to this pattern and style at Nordstrom Rack for $65 before purchasing this one and ended up returning it after buying this one.
The shoes I am wearing in the post are also a style steal themselves. I purchased them at Target for only $27 dollars(they were on sale!) I've been looking for a pair of heels this style but I tend to wear mostly flats on a daily basis so I can't spend $250 on heels(like the more expensive ones I was drooling over) because I know I won't wear them enough to make it worth it. When I've worn these shoes out I've received sooo many compliments on them and when I tell people they are from Target the look on their face says it all!

I've never had problems with my skin in the morning until recently. I'm blaming it on the stress of school stealing away my precious hours of sleep! So I've definitely been needing an extra "boost" in the morning to make my skin look like it received it's needed 8 hours of sleep. This cleanser does everything I've ever wanted a morning facial wash to do. It claims to be exfoliating but in my opinion it's not. The cleanser has soft cleansing beads in it that help your skin feel refreshed but I wouldn't call it a scrub. After I use this is the morning my skin has a nice glow to it. On a good skin day after using this cleanser I could get away with just some bronzer and mascara because of how healthy and even this cleanser makes my face look. I just love it.

Let me start by saying eyebrows are not my friend. I used to have "werewolf" eyebrows when I was younger and now mine are far from being "on fleek" or whatever they say. Part of the struggle is my eyebrow hair isn't very full and my eyebrows are light. I've tried eyebrow pencils before and I didn't really care for them. I forgot that a long time ago I purchased this brow pomade from Anatasia. About two weeks ago I was going through my make-up and I found this. I've been using it every day now and I love how easy it is to apply, how little product you use and how it doesn't smudge. I felt like I went through so many of their eyebrow brow wiz pencils before and I love how much product you get with the dip brow, I can tell it's going to last me a long time. I'm in the shade soft brown.

If you struggle with dull flat hair, this little brush is going to be your new best friend. I was at Ulta a couple of weeks ago and the lady working there had amazing hair. So naturally I asked her to tell me what her trick was. She said dry shampoo and before curling teasing with this brush. So I decided it was worth trying for under $5. Before I curl my hair I tease it(just a little) at the roots and it gives my hair so much volume without using a lot of product, plus the pick on the end is great for styling.

I purchased these Nike shoes along with the Nike tech hoodie(I'm going to do a post on this look soon) and I love them both. By no means are these the best workout or running shoes I've ever owned. But they are perfect for going to the gym and doing some elliptical or stair master in style and then running errands after. They are extremely comfortable and look great with leggings and t-shirt for a casual look.

Candles are not usually my thing, so it's rare I find one that I like. I don't like walking into a home and all I can smell is fragrance. These candles from Target are an absolute dream. The scent is light and they last a very long time. *Plus, they go on sale frequently! My favorite scent from this brand is 'sugar blossom.'

Blue & Brown
Just when I thought the cold days were behind me I woke up to check the temperature outside and the temperature was not what I wanted to see. But instead of staying inside and avoiding the cold all together I decided to go to the park with a friend and "enjoy" what should be the last cold day I experience for awhile! I put on this coat that I purchased a couple of months ago. I love the gold accents on this coat paired with the blue. I'm really hoping this is one of the last of the chilly days and I can start wearing all of my spring/summer clothes I prematurely took out of storage!

Flawless foundation routine
I am so excited to be sharing this post with you about my foundation routine. Let me start by saying it has taken me about two years of trying countless products(thank God Sephora has an amazing return policy) on my face trying to find the perfect products for me.
Before I even start telling you about the make-up I use I really want to stress the importance of taking care of your skin. Make-up can cover a lot up, but the better your skin looks and feels without make-up the less you'll have to use giving you a more natural look.
This might sound strange but I've had strangers come up to me in public and ask me about what I used on my skin. Usually I just get flustered and try to change the subject but…
Foundation| MAC Studio fix Foundation| 27
This is hands down the best foundation I have ever used. It gives you a naturally finish and the coverage is
extremely build-able. I've mixed it in with my moisturizer for light coverage as well as applied two layers for an incredibly full coverage look.I apply this foundation with my Sephora beauty blender which is in my opinion the best way to apply liquid foundation to help make it look natural and flawless. This foundation could be 60 dollars and I would still buy it as it's better than some of the high-end $50+ foundations I've tried in the past. A side note, this foundation does not include a pump but you can purchase one at MAC for $10 but I don't find it necessary. This foundation will last me about 3 months as well. I'm in the shade NW20.
Concealer| MAC Prolongwear concealer| 20
Foundation gives your skin an amazing base. Most days I'll skip concealer if I use foundation. But on the days
where I didn't get my precious eight hours of sleep this concealer is my new best friend. Also, on days when I don't want to apply a full face of make-up I'll apply a little of this on any troubled spots with some blush and that's it for my face. I'm in the shade NW20.
Powder| MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural| 32
To set everything I use my MAC mineralize skin finish in Medium Dark. I am often wearing fake tan( St.Tropez bronzing mousse to be exact) so I need something to help make my skin match my body. This is my favorite powder ever, it doesn't look "cakey" and it feels so incredibly light on the skin.
Bronzer-Highlighter| Anatasia Contour Kit| 40
Ok, everyone and their mother is talking about this so now I am too(and now my Mom as she tried mine once and had to get her own!) Not only do I use this to contour my face but I use it as eye-shadow as well when I'm traveling. I apply my bronzer with the eco tools brush(link below) it really helps blend everything out so you don't have any harsh lines. I then use a slightly damp beauty blender for the highlighter. I use the light to medium shade but they also recently came out with a medium to tan option as well.
